If you haven’t been to Northern Sask in the heart of summer, you haven’t witnessed one of the hidden summer gems of Canada. Tyler & Joelle opted for Wicks’ Retreat for their August celebration. With a driveway so hidden, you would miss the entrance if you weren’t watching. Down a long winding road towards the river, enclosed by trees is the hidden oasis. With 30 of their closest, Joelle & Tyler said ‘I Do’ and moved over to a gorgeous tent set up for cocktails. The food never stopped coming, made by Joelle’s mother. Completing their night was a roast pig, an endless array of desserts, and a sunset dance as the music faded in to the trees. Joyous laughter and the sounds of love could be heard as I walked away in the dark. Guess what guys….micro weddings don’t suck at all.
