It’s hard to believe that 6 weeks ago we were toes in the sand and now Thanksgiving is around the corner. Where does the time go?

When I first started shooting, I had an idea in my

When I first started shooting, I had an idea in my mind on what the photograph should look like. How I should be creating imagery and artwork for families.

The perfect Christmas card.

And there’s nothing wrong with those perfect Christmas card photos, but how I photographed just didn’t feel right to me. Something was missing.

I wasn’t actually seeing what was going on in front of me. I was looking, but I wasn’t seeing.

I was so lost in creating moments for families that I couldn’t see the moments actually happening in front of me.

I still capture the Christmas card photo, but I hope it’s the rest of the images that you fall in love with and frame on your wall. 💛
