Sarah Meagan Photography is about moments that are romantic and real. I strive to photograph images that are timeless, contemporary, and playful. 

I’m Sarah, owner and creative mind of Sarah Meagan Photography. I’ve always been a go-getter, and passionate about anything I pursue. I never imagined my career would take the path it has in the last few years.

Although I have had a camera in my hand since high school, it was always just a hobby I was passionate about. Once I graduated, I did the sensible thing anyone would do and headed to the University of Saskatchewan to complete my Bachelor of Commerce. My dream was to own and operate a dance studio. While I knew education was important to my career, I have always been drawn to any element of the art and performance world.

Photography was always just there, quietly waiting at the sidelines during my university life. I absolutely love being passionate about creating art through real moments, and becoming an entrepreneur. It really is the best of both worlds. I get to witness amazing moments, create some beautiful images, and answer emails in sweatpants.

I am driven by creating honest, real moments in the camera lens. Sometimes I am an observer, sometimes a creator. 

I am a firm believer in finding something to be passionate about. You create your own happiness. Whether its work, down time, or relationships. Passion is the number one driving force behind success. If you want it bad it enough, you can have it.

I also believe in not letting anyone define who you are, except YOU. Be the exception, never the rule. Find the perfect creamer for your coffee to get you going, and find a career that lets you decide the coffee breaks.
