There is something about family sessions when the children are all grown up that enthrals me. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love photographing the little ones, but the energy as young adults is so different. Maybe it’s because my family is at that exact stage. That anticipation of the world at your feet, the appreciation for everything your parents have done for you, without the chaos of new babes. Life is fun, fulfilling, and it almost as if time stands still with no where to go except over to Mom and Dad’s house for a good glass of red wine and laughter.

Or maybe it’s just because I love this Kozun family, and I absolutely loved spending a morning with them at the park and the river. Whatever the reason is, I think we can whole-heartedly agree that at this stage of family life, there is no better time for family photographs.
